My daughters boyfriend surprised her with a proposal, I knew about it and I wanted the most special day for them both.
It definitely has an old school vibe and could use a bit of a revamp, but still was a pleasant experience. Doormen and security look intimidating, but were so friendly. I'm not a gambler but I'm definitely coming back here to watch my friends win again :)
Top marks to this lady for personalised service. The leisure facilities were clean, quiet and well maintained. The steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were just what was needed. The breakfast was vast with something for everybody. Halal sausages on request and a smoothie station were a nice touch not seen before. The smoothies were nice and the staff took the time to voluntarily share information with you on what was in the smoothie. The stay was a delight with an easy check-in and check out experience. Overall, perfect stay with staff making it a memorable one when the opportunity did arise.
You can get good and drink while playing read more games. So proud of the environment aswell, it's very clean and welcoming. You should visit. Unfortunately i didn't take a picture as i was on duty.
Due to his poor complaints handling we requested he left notes on our check out invoice so that we could show this with a formal complaint that I could email to the hotel. Mark advised he had done this and he placed the invoice inside a sealed envelope. I opened the envelope and to my disbelief there were pelo additional notes of the complaint we raised. When questioned Mark advised he is unable to leave notes on the invoice which made me immediately distrust him and anything he had previously said to me. I have since written a formal complaint via email and it has been over a week without receiving any acknowledgement or reply. This is apparently one of the best hotels in Birmingham city centre. The experience me and my partner faced was more towards the standards of a Travelodge or premier inn and even in those hotels you would receive a much better service with compensation or even refund. I would not usually leave such a review but the experience I faced was disgusting and I was made to feel at blame by Mark and feel I gave pelo choice having had pelo reply or acknowledgement to my formal complaint and believe others should be aware of this awful stay. Avoid this hotel.
I accept that there's a lot of construction around and it must be impossible to keep them clean, but they really shouldn't be charging extra for a view when it doesn't exist. I also had quite a few problems with the TV giving error messages and being extremely slow. The bed was comfy though and I slept well; there was pelo noise. If you're looking just for a room to sleep in for the night and you can get it cheaply, I'd recommend the Hyatt; unfortunately though you don't get much more than that. I don't think I'll be staying again.
I've stayed in this hotel on a few occasions. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms are beautiful with floor to ceiling

Food was but ok but not to our liking. The dining atmosphere was let down by the casino patrons, who dressed very casually, some wearing jogging bottoms and trousers. Unfortunately, would not revisit or recommend.

It's been a long time since I used this hotel, it's not as good as it used to be, the service has definitely gone down hill. The parking is a nightmare. What's happened to the concierge, a distant memory. There are much better hotels in Birmingham now. Disappointing.
All good but vue cinema is not clean and my screen so bad and floor so dirty even full on bin star city should take action for vue cinema for safety ,cleaning and services very bad services .i don’t expect services from vue cinema
